Client: Bridgepoint
Concept: New Life into Old Bones
Shelley McPhatter, founder of BridgePoint Construction Services, asked us to collaborate on transforming a storage bay of 600 North Duke Street (built in 1926 to store and dry tobacco) into their new office. The result was a brilliant combination of old and new. We maintained some of the building’s original qualities such as the brick walls, membrane ceiling and metal trusses and beams. Structural changes included new windows and a front entry on the south side of the building. An open floor plan keeps the space light and airy. An inviting break area gives the employees a place to gather (check out that backsplash). This new office allows BridgePoint to showcase their craftsmanship to their growing portfolio of clients.
