Kempower, a Finnish technology company specializing in electric vehicle DC fast-charging systems, established its U.S. manufacturing hub in Durham, NC to support the growing demand for fleet-wide EV infrastructure. The goal was to create a space that reflected the brand’s cutting-edge innovation, operational efficiency, and energetic, tech-forward identity.
The facility includes both a sleek, branded office environment and a high-functioning industrial floor. The office side features bold use of brand color, geometric wall treatments, and collaborative zones designed for engineering teams, vendor meetings, and employee connection. Strategic use of orange—a signature of the Kempower identity—energizes the space and helps communicate brand clarity throughout.
In the manufacturing and testing areas, optimized lighting, durable finishes, and precise spatial layouts support rigorous assembly processes while maintaining a clean, streamlined aesthetic. Visual organization, wayfinding, and branded signage unify the user experience from front door to production line.
